0.48rc appears to work fine on my SGS2.

The problem with the boat traces isn't a big deal, but I'm sorry I didn't report it earlier.

I tried the five versions from 0.45 to 0.47.2 on my SGS2 with Andriod 4.1.2. I Started the app two times with each version logging into SWR Leg4. It worked with all versions except 0.47 . 0.47 crashed while downloading weather data and/or boat tracks (it's not clear to me which, or even if the different data sets are downloaded synchronously or asynchronously.)

To me it feels like there is a race condition during data download in at least versions 0.45 and 0.47 .

A possibly/probably unrelated problem: When selecting different opponents to show their tracks, the app always crashes after a few different selected boats. It usually happens after 5-10 boats, and I don't believe it has to do with a specific boat. It has never happened on the first selected boat. I guess there is some kind of race condition or memory corruption. I believe boats can have different number of segments in their tracks, could that be a cause of the bug? I think this has been a problem in each version since the feature appeared, for sure in the five versions discussed above.

I should also mention that I haven't had any problems on my Nexus 7 tablet running Android 5.0.2, except for the issue with boat tracks mentioned above. I didn't bother to try the two unofficial version on that device, though.

I had the exact same problems with 0.45 as Marcelo Vall on my SGS2 running Android 4.1.2. That is, a crash 2-5 seconds after starting the app. I tried to start it lots of times but the exact same thing happened every time except ones or twice when I managed to get it to start.

On the other hand, 0.46 is working beautifully on my device. I haven't dared to try 0.47 as I fear the problems from 0.45 may come back.

I just noticed that if one sets a delayed command to a time that has already past, the command is executed immediately.

I discovered this when I attempted to set a DC for a few hours from now, on the other side of midnight, and forgot to update the date. This seems to have fired the DC when I pressed ok.

Perhaps a refusal to set DCs in the past would be good?

As a related feature request, I think it would be nice if it was possible to set the offset time of a DC, instead of the date. Maybe it could work similar to the web client that when the DC is added you set the delay, and in the edit dialog it's the date that is changed?

First of all thanks for a great app!

I've noticed that the chat does not always load in v0.4. The panel stays grey when it doesn't.

It would also be awesome if the first DC position showed up as a marker along the predictor, similar to the orange marker in the Web interface.

If we want to limit the number of tack/gybes per hour, why don't we do just that?

By storing one additional variable for each boat, called e.g. `crew_fatigue', this could be implemented easily. A tack/gybe increases the variable by some value, a course change increases it by a smaller value and a server jump decreases it by an appropriate amount.

The performance loss would then depend on this value with a larger loss when the crew is tired.

The downside to this would be the introduction of a new variable I suppose. To me it seems like an intuitive variable, but it probably has to be displayed in the client for transparency.
